SYSTEMIZED CLASSES

Our class variation centers around the fundamentals of boxing such as footwork, head movement, punch mechanics, speed, defense, power and endurance allowing you to craft and develop each fundamental idea over the course of time.

Download the Unified Boxing app, book your class, bring your workout towel, hand wraps and boxing gloves. Hand wraps and boxing gloves can be rent at no charge for your first class at Unified Boxing Club.

Arrive 10 minutes before class starts to meet your coaches, wrap your hands and familiarize yourself with the day's workout. You can also unwind, get your head in the game, and be fully present and intentional with your workout.

DEMO

Before the workout starts the coaches will go over the flow and demonstrate the exercises for the day.

WARM UP

The warm up acts as a precursor to the workout and injury prevention. You'll be practicing the motions fundamental to each exercise or combination.

WORKOUT

During the 45 to 50 minute workout you’ll rotate through three zones with two coaches on the floor bringing energy to perform at your best. Mixing bag work, mitt work, plyometrics and metabolic exercises to help enhance boxing movements as well as boxing specific training.

COOLING DOWN

Before you leave feeling energized, you’ll have some time to bring your heart rate down through brief stretching and breath work.

Battle Royal

A conditioning based workout designed to improve cardio endurance and anaerobic threshold



Simple repetitive drills & movements performed at speed to increase the anaerobic threshold.

Mastery

A workout designed to perfect the basic fundamental punches



Throwing from a balanced stance with proper weight transfer and axis rotation. Additional points: Static head, Full extension and hand turn-over.

Technician

An offensive based workout designed to develop varied & unpredictable offense



Manipulate opponents' guard and take away their defensive mobility. Short lateral step (left or right) followed by explosive forward offensive.

Untouchable

A non-contact defensive based workout focussing on developing elusive and efficient head movement



Moving the head laterally off the centreline to evade incoming punches from the opponent.

Counter

Develop the ability to shut down an opponent's attack with the intention of returning your own offense



Block straight punches & hooks with the intention of returning a shot of your own. Slip with the intention of setting up the (counter 3) or (counter 2).
